Assessment Guidance: Watershed Health Assessment Evaluation

Regardless of the assessment tool selected, it is important to ask yourself:

1. What are the modeling requirements?
2. What are the assessment's conclusions, assumptions, and limitations?
3. What do the results of the assessment from this tool mean?
4. What can we infer from the results?
5. What can we NOT infer?
6. What is the level of certainty?
7. What can we say/not say about the system from these results?
8. What is the ecological/societal significance of your findings? (i.e. why do we care?)
9. What is the range of relevant management recommendations?
10. What are the next steps with respect to management actions, research, monitoring, data collection, analyses, etc.
